This initiative aims to effectively combat corruption and the illegal trafficking of wildlife and precious wood in Madagascar. This project, crucial for the preservation of local biodiversity, involves close collaboration with government actors and NGOs to strengthen governance and raise awareness at national borders.
The deal: Produce a 30-second animated video to raise public awareness of the devastating impacts of illegal trafficking and encourage collective action. This communication aims to reach a broad audience spectrum through various media channels.
Challenge: The main challenge is to convey a complex and serious message clearly and engagingly in a very brief format. Accuracy in the choice of visuals and words is essential to spark interest and understanding without compromising emotional impact. The video is intended to be a key tool in the awareness strategy, used at events, on online platforms, and at border checkpoints. The goal is to stimulate awareness and promote action among citizens and decision-makers.
What we achieved:
- Development of scenarios: Two distinct scenarios were written to provide varied perspectives on the subject, each accompanied by a detailed storyboard.
- Graphic design: Animations were created to be both informative and aesthetically pleasing, integrating branding from USAID and partners to ensure visual coherence.
- Audiovisual production: Special care was taken to harmonize visual and sound aspects to reinforce the message and captivate the audience. This project illustrates our team’s commitment to using motion design as a powerful means of communication and social change. We remain dedicated to creating content that not only informs but also actively motivates a response to environmental and social issues.
